This forum will feature candidates for the three contested primary election races in Boone County on August 7.*

Paul Rainsberger – former Chair of Labor Studies, Univ. of MO System – (con) Prop A

Local Ballot Issue: Proposition 1 – Water bond
Tad Johnsen– Columbia Water & Light Dept.

Moderators: David Lile and Renee Hulsoff

KFRU will broadcast the forum live.

The Columbia Public Library is a cosponsor of this event which is free and open to the public.

*(Note: All candidates in the contested races are Democrats. The non-contested races will also be on the ballot.)

Columbia School District – Ballot Issue
Dr. Peter Stiepleman, superintendent
Dr. Stiepelman will make a presentation and answer questions about the issue.

The Columbia City Council Ward 6 seat is up for election, but only one candidate (Betsy Peters) is running unopposed and will not be included in the forum.

We are expecting KFRU Radio to broadcast the forum live and David Lile and Renee Hulshof will serve as moderators.

The Columbia Public Library is cosponsoring this event which is free and open to the public.
