LWV-CBC Annual Luncheon December 10
Where: Jack’s Gourmet, corner of Old 63 and Business Loop
When: Saturday, December 10, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Honoree: Lucille Salerno, Citizen of the Year
Cost: $14.00 per person
Served Plate menu: Tarragon chicken breast, Angel hair pasta, Julienne carrots and zucchini (served over the pasta with extra large servings for those wishing a vegetarian option) , Tossed salad with house dressing, rolls and butter, iced tea and brownies for dessert.

Meet the City Manager and the Sustainability Director Tuesday 11/15
“Planning Columbia’s Future Energy Needs” by Mike Matthes, City Manager and Barbara Buffaloe, Sustainability Director, City of Columbia.
Columbia Public Library, 7:00 p.m. Refreshments 6:30 p.m. The general public is invited.
What’s Columbia’s energy future? Come and hear Mr. Matthes’ views on Columbia’s current energy policies and programs and his vision for the future. Learn about new energy initiatives such as the PACE program. Barbara Buffaloe will give an update on the major energy efficiency grant she has been managing and implementation of the Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement.
Bring your questions and suggestions. Encourage friends and colleagues to attend this special event co-sponsored by the Columbia Public Library and Osage Group of the Sierra Club.
