Plan to attend this public event to learn about the legislative priorities, and to have an opportunity to ask questions, of our elected officials.

This event is cosponsored by the Columbia Public Library and is free and open to the public.

Note that House District 50 is currently vacant, as Rep. Caleb Jones has taken a position with the Governor’s Office.

Human Trafficking is the second largest and fastest growing crime worldwide. In the U.S. trafficking is reported in all 50 states, in large and small cities, in urban and rural communities. It happens in mid-Missouri.  Nanette Ward will tell us about the work of the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition which strives to raise awareness of this crime, raise funds for financial assistance to survivors, and provide direct support to survivors on their journey towards wholeness.

The public is invited to attend and learn about this major crime activity and how they might help in the efforts to end it.

Although there is no lunch included in this event, attendees are welcome to bring their own or purchase lunch in the store.
