Travis Koestner, Assistant District Engineer, Missouri Department of Transportation, will be the guest speaker.

Missouri has more miles of state-maintained highways than Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas combined. Missouri has one of the lowest motor fuel excise tax and state sales tax rates of any of its surrounding states. About 43% of the government money spent for transportation in Missouri is from the federal government.

This program is free and open to the public.

and Mark Gordon, President & CEO, Missouri Broadcasters Association,

Randy Picht, Executive Director, Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute, will be the moderator.

 

The program will originate on Wednesday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. and will be replayed on CAT TV (Mediacom Channel 85; Charter Communications Channel 983; and CenturyTel Prism Channel 98. Replay times on CAT TV are at 7 am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and 7:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.) The program will be available on the League website (lwvcbc.org) a few days after the show or at columbiaacess.tv.
