In the words of the Supreme Court, the right to vote is preservative of all other rights. The voting booth is the one place where all are presumed equal. But is this basic right safe?

At this program in recognition of Constitution Day,  Rep. Newman will share what is happening at the state and national level actions that impact on this basic right.

Rep. Stacey Newman is a state representative (District 73) and ranking member of the House Elections Committee.

This even, which is free and open to the public,  is cosponsored by the League and the AAUW-Columbia Chapter.
