Serving on a city or county board or commission is a great way to get involved in local government. Come and learn about these important positions and how to apply for them. The speakers will offer tips for applicants and explain how the boards and commissions function.

Lunch & Learn: you can buy lunch in the store or bring your own food.

This event is free and open to the general public.

Ian Thomas, Columbia city councilman, Ward 4

Jim Robertson, managing editor, Columbia Daily Tribune,  will serve as moderator.
