Contested Race on the August Primary Ballot
Thursday, July 23, 2020
7:00 p.m.

The only local contested race in the August 4, 2020 Primary Election is the Republican nomination for Northern Boone County Commissioner. The candidates are Brenndan Riddles, Jim Musgraves, Sam Boyce and Tristan Asbury.

Barbara Hoppe will serve as moderator.

Each candidate will make a two-minute opening statement. Then the LWV will have a few questions to start off the Q&A, followed by some audience questions via Chat. Finally, each candidate will make a one-minute closing statement.

The winner of the primary election will face current Northern Boone County Commissioner Janet Thompson on the November 3 general election.
