Running for Public Office

If you are thinking about running for an elected office, the League of Women Voters has some helpful resources.

Filing for State offices, including House of Representative and statewide offices, will begin on February 27, 2018 at the Secretary of State’s Office in Jefferson City.

(Depending on location, other offices may be available now or in the future.  This could be a city council position, mayor, school board, hospital board, etc. Contact the local government for details.)
