Forum on Missouri’s Sunshine Law: Shining a Light on Government”

Guest speaker: Attorney Nathan Nickolaus, Missouri Department of Economic Development. He is a former municipal attorney for Jefferson City and author of “The Sunshine Law” published by the Missouri Bar.

Questions we will consider are: What are the specific provisions of this law? How well is it working? What are some recent cases in which the public has benefited from open government? and more.

A Q/A session will follow.

Jim Robertson, managing editor, Columbia Daily Tribune, will facilitate the program.

Everyone in attendance will receive a copy of the latest booklet on the Sunshine Law from the Missouri Attorney General.
