University of Missouri professor Jeanne Mihail will present her analysis of publicly available data from the Boone County Jail. She looked for patterns in the data — people charged, types of charges, etc. — to see what equities/inequities might be revealed.

Our guest speaker will be Mike Szydlowski, science coordinator of Columbia Public Schools, who will tell us about the Boone County Nature School.

Violet Vander Haar will provide our entertainment by singing songs of democracy.
We will present our Outstanding Citizen Award to Ruth O’Neill of the Catholic Worker Community, orchestrator of the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen, and attorney with the Department of Social Services. The Liz Schmidt Community Service Award will be presented to the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri and will be accepted by the president and CEO Lindsey Lopez.
