December 6 Public Forum: Climate Change & Our Health
What can we do as increasingly hot summers affect the health of mid-Missourians? Rebecca Roesslet, Social Services Supervisor, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Social Services; Allison Kellenberger, RN, and Dr. Dick Parker, Biologist, with David Lile, KFRU radio, moderator, will describe recent information from NOAA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, on what global warming is doing to Missouri weather and what steps can be and are being taken locally to deal with asthma, heat stress, etc. due to increasing summer heat and climate change.
